These protein balls are ideal healthy snack that I eat on the road, hiking or use as a pre-workout. Not only they are super tasty, but they are loaded with healthy calories that will get you moving! They are made with all natural ingredients and added protein. If you’re not a coffee lover you could always skip the coffee ingredient or substitute with e.g. chocolate chips.

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup of steel cut oats
- 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp shredded coconut
- 4 tbsp shredded almond
- 3 tbsp cocoa nibs
- 1½ tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 tbsp coffee
- 2 cups of almond butter
- 3 tbsp honey
- ½ tbsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
PREPARATION:
- Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until a dough-like mixture forms.
- Form mixture into 1-inch bites by hand. Refrigerate for up to a week.
